Hackers are the outlaws of the computer age for snooping stealing spreading viruses. No one has a good word for them today but it wasn't always so. Hackers started a revolution in computers and this is the happen to inspire them and technological era. However, There are some mind blowing hacking that happened in past which result the loss of trillions of dollar. Few of them are described below:-

1. Stealing $10 million dollar by Vladimir Levin

    According to the coverage, in 1994 Levin accessed the accounts of several large corporate customers of Citibank via their dial-up wire transfer service (Financial Institutions Citibank Cash Manager) and transferred funds to accounts set up by accomplices in Finland, the United States, the Netherlands, Germany and Israel. Vladimir Levin was one of the first ever known hacker to try to rob a bank. But at 1995 he was caught and sent to prison for 3 years.










2. "ILOVEYOU" virus

     This was the virus which was lunched from Philippines and spread worldwide in such a that still it has highest record of fasted spreading virus. This hacked the system of several computer of world wide which later cost US$15 billion to remove the worm . About 10% of internet user were infected by this virus.

3. Gary McKinnon hacked 97 computers of NASA and US military

      In 2001, GAry hacked the computers of NASA and US military and he even deleted, added and posted random message in their system. He was sentenced to jail just after 2 years of hacking.

4. Visa Card and Mastercard Hacked

    In 2012, visa card and master card of 1.5 million customers were hacked. Despite of such greatest hack, still it is unknown that who stole the data of this much of users.

5. $20 Million Stolen From ATM of Nepal

     In september 2019, a chinese hacking group hacked the banking system of Nepal and stole $20 Million just in half of an hour. However, they were caught instantaneously by Nepal Police. Later it was found that they had even hacked the Indian banking system and stolen $20 million from Indian banks also.
